How do you keep the sugar so low?
We use organic stevia, a plant grown in Paraguay thats been used as a sweetener for more than 2 centuries.
We also use Allulose, which is a non-artificial sweetener that is found in foods like raisins and figs. It tastes like sugar, but doesn't act like sugar in your body.
Why is protein important?
When it comes to nutritious foods, the power of protein is widely touted by experts and fitness enthusiasts aplenty. Not only does protein provide satisfying calories that keep you full and fueled longer than many other foods, but it helps build, repair, and maintain the body’s tissues.
What’s the difference between a protein snack and an energy bar?
The energy bar market has grown substantially over the past decade, so much so that local grocery stores have dedicated entire aisles to merchandise the hundreds of different brands, and flavors. All bars are not created equal and deciphering the quality, nutritional content, and purpose of each bar can be a daunting and confusing task. Energy bars do not equal protein snacks. Energy bars are loaded with carbs and sugar to give you a quick boost during long distance training sessions.
Defined as, “Small amounts of food in between meals,” snacks should be lower in calories but higher in protein content to keep you you fit and fueled for our ever busy, time shifting schedules.
